{Baltimore, Maryland Child and Family Photographer} Life By Lens: August 2014

Another month has flown by and it’s time for my Life By Lens post.  I knew this summer was going to fly, but it’s gone by even faster than I expected!  That’s due in large part to the fact that I was able to spend most of the last month at the beach (shocking, I know!).    During my 25 day stay, I had lots of beach sessions, which I love, and managed to take a week(ish) off to do family vacation things.  My niece stayed most of the trip, which was great.  I love seeing the girls all play together.  And my brother and his family were able to take an unexpected trip down.  They’re almost 9 hours away while he’s in medical school, so it was great that they were able to make the trip, and of course I was thrilled that I was able to get a couple shots of the kids all together.

The weather was nearly perfect.  We only had one day the whole month that was a total washout.  We stayed on the beach until at least 5 or 6pm almost every day, and even had pizza on the beach a couple times.

And we of course took several trips to get the world’s most delicious ice cream at Dumser’s.

While we were gone, we had a lot of the interior of our house painted, which means that it’s time to update the pictures on the wall.  I even managed to get in one.  I’ve never been in a silhouette, but I knew I wanted one while I’m pregnant.  And the great thing about a silhouette is that I was a mess and you can’t tell!  No makeup, crazy hair, skirt thrown on top of leggings.  So now I need to choose which ones to get on canvas!

It was a great month, and an awesome summer!  And now we just have a week and a half left until the girls (both of them!) start school!
Now continue the circle by seeing what Nghi Le’s post here!
