{Baltimore, MD Child Photographer} My 365 2013

This year, I decided to attempt a 365 project. Basically, it means I take at least one picture every day. While I didn’t quite make it every single day, I’m pretty happy that I stuck with it and ended up with about 300/365 pictures. Not too bad. It’s fun to look back at the pictures and see how much has changed in one short year!

January: What stands out to me here is Annabelle holding her bottle! It’s crazy to me that she was still drinking from a bottle this time last year. She’s grown up so much! This was also the start of hide and seek. See Clara hiding behind a dress?2013-12-28_0001.jpg

February:
One of my favorite pictures of the year is the one of Clara saying goodnight to Annabelle. Every night Annabelle requests “one more kiss” from each of us. 2013-12-28_0002.jpg

March:
The never ending winter. It snowed at the end of March, which is pretty unusual in Maryland! I was definitely ready for it to warm up. 2013-12-28_0003.jpg

April:
Spring! More hide and seek, Easter2013-12-28_0004.jpg

June
Ocean City! June was a great month. My brother and his family were in Ocean City for the month, so we spent as much time there as we could (well, we always go a lot, but I tried extra hard this month).

July
Lots more Ocean City, 4th of July and one of my favorite days of the year, the Marlatt Family Picnic. 2013-12-28_0008.jpg

August
Yes, more OC. Another of my favorite pictures this month: the one of Annabelle on her tippy toes reaching for the elevator button at the beach. As we got towards the end of the summer, I realized that next year everything will be so different. There’s such a huge difference between almost 2 and almost 3. She won’t need to reach so much. 2013-12-28_0009.jpg

September:
I stretched our summer as much as I could and made a couple more trips to the beach. I think my #1 favorite picture of the year is the one of Dave lunging for the bird. 2013-12-28_0010.jpg

October:
I officially let go of summer. Clara started ballet at the end of September, but ended up switching classes. When she got to her new class, she saw her best friend from school and was thrilled. We also took our first trip to Gaver Farm (so fun!) and celebrated Annabelle’s 2nd birthday!2013-12-28_0011.jpg

November:
More fall fun, ballet, Thanksgiving, and my 2nd favorite time of year, Christmas!2013-12-28_0012.jpg

December:
After summertime, December is my favorite month. I love everything about Christmas, and this year was the most fun yet! We made lots of cookies, decorated our house and tree, and hosted a Santa party. I took Clara out to dinner and Christmas shopping, where she chose (often hilarious) presents for everyone. And Annabelle got her first haircut.2013-12-28_0013.jpg

2013 was a fantastic year! I’m glad I did the 365 project…but for 2014, I think I’ll take on a less ambitious Project 52.
