Last November, Hunter was my first newborn session back from maternity leave. He made me realize I didn’t have a newborn anymore! 🙂 You think your baby is so little at two months, until you hold an actual newborn and realize that phase has passed in the blink of an eye. That’s why I find newborn sessions (both studio and lifestyle) to be so special. It’s over before you even realize it, and have photos of those early days is something you will always cherish!
Lifestyle sessions are always so fun for me. It can be a challenge not knowing exactly how the lighting is going to be in a client’s home, or how things are going to be set up, but lifestyle sessions are so much more relaxed than studio. You’re comfortable because you’re at home, you have access to everything you need, you can even finish getting ready while I grab some shots of the baby alone.
About 90% of a lifestyle session takes place in the baby’s room. Hunter had a gorgeous nursery! I absolutely love the colors and overall theme that his parents chose!
